ewwwwww. I hate that stuff. Lexi had it in her ear when she had an ear infection and it just freaked me out. Luckily no one else in the house caught anything

Trying searching on MRSA

It is contageous and can be dangerous if antibiotics don't work. Do you rememeber when our public schools were closed down last year (Valley Forge and Rushmore), it was because of MRSA outbreak. That's why I don't like playlands and always make Ashley wash her hands a million times.

Here's a good link that explains it:

Its bad stuff, but not really anything to get all panicked over. Its literally everywhere now. It is contagious, but it depends on where she has it. if it is in her lungs you can get it from breathing around her like a regular cold. If its in a wound then you really have to come into direct contact with her wound or bodily fluids to get it.

I had no idea you could get it in your lungs. Thanks for letting me know that

I did a topic search here on PC for MRSA and a bunch of threads showed up, I don't know which one you were thinking of.

you can, but like I said, I wouldn't get all panicked about it. I'm not an infectious disease specialist, All I know is that I have seen people with it in wounds, and people with it in thier sputum ( in the lungs) and that if you did a culture of anyone who works in a hospital you would probably find it on them somewhere too. eew.
