dry.gif I'm sick again! I absolutely hate being sick. In the past 2 months I've had a UTI, cold/flu symptoms, was put on anti-biotics and a nasal spray for a sinus infection, my ear has been plugged up since September and I've seen a total now of 4 doctors. I'm so tired. I saw a doctor on-call today and I have another sinus infection, a pretty bad one. She said that my sinuses are so swollen, they are almost closed up. So I'm on stronger anti-biotics and another nasal spray.

I take a multie vitamin everyday, I drink lots of orange juice, apple juice and when I'm at work I eat strawberries and pineapple. Because of the shifts I work it's not always easy for me to eat healthy.

sleep.gif Being sick for so long has really taken it's toll on my mental health and the last week I've really been struggling. I'm tired and depressed. The pharmacist suggested that I speak to my doctor about a med change, I've been wanting to do this for a while.

So if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them!

I don't believe in immune boosters in a bottle or package.

Diet, exercise, low stress and rest are the only things I would think would help with one's immune system.

A flu shot.

The pharmacist told me I can't get the flu shot until I'm well. I am planning to though, thanks!

I swear by the Emergen-C, but if you're already getting plenty of C I don't know how much it would help. Hope you feel better soon! hug.gif

Not a quick fix but Echinacea < SP), Vitamin C < tablets, and Pro Biotics ...

I take Probiotics DAILY!! I swear by them smile.gif

Also, taking a clove of Raw Garlic, swallow the clove whole, its like natures anti-biotic. It may give you a restroom issue though ...
