After the court issues are over (assumably on the 12th of june). Lars and i are going to try counceling. I find this to be a good thing. we have seen councelers seperately for our own issues durring our lives and so this is finally going to be attempted as a combined effort. I know his issues and he known mine and i'm hoping this works. smile.gif

I have found that counselors can be helpful as long as each person agrees to take their advice openly.

Usually the one who suggests the counseling session is really hoping to go and have the counselor agree or validate THEIR point of view. If they suggest that perhaps that person is wrong, all of a sudden, counseling was a bad idea or "they don't know what they are talking about".

actually he seggested it and like i said we both have been in counceling before as singles and are aware that this isn't a person to validate our own agendas but to help each other understand where the other is comming from and to try and find a happy medium.
