Thanks so much, ladies. We actually don't have a problem getting pregnant...it's STAYING pregnant that we have had trouble with. But, I can obviously carry a baby all the way, so I am praying for a sticky baby. I SO don't want to lose anymore, but we want another baby so bad. I have always longed for a girl, though of course I wouldn't take anything for my boys. They are beyond precious! I don't know...I guess I just feel like there is a lot I could share with a girl. And maybe I want that closeness that I have never had with my mother. ANYWAY, yes.
If you are one who prays, please pray specifically for my hormones. I have a feeling my early losses are a result of low progesterone, though I have no proof. Before I got pregnant with Kade, I had all that tested and they told me I couldn't have been more healthy. I don't know if progesterone can diminish over time.

If you are working with a ob/gyn they can give you progesterone to help. I had to take that right after I got pg with Megan. As soon as I found out I started bleeding, so they had me do the progesterone, but it turned out the bleeding was caused by something else.

Our insurance only covers pregnancy and childbirth. I was considering taking some natural things to boost progesterone, but I read that it can cause problems if you do that and aren't actually low on it.

Why wouldn't insurance cover the progesterone? I mean, if you DO get pg and your doc knows you miscarry often, then to me they'd give you the progesterone the day you find out your pg to help keep the pg, right? Why wouldn't insurance cover that if you are already pg? I know you aren't now, but once you are I think it would be covered if you called and had it issued right away. huh.gif

Oh yeah...I didn't think of that. Maybe I could get it tested immediately when I find out I am pregnant. The trouble is that all my losses have been at about 5 weeks. I don't know if I would even have time to get in. With Kade and Carter, I took one baby aspirin a day, as I had read that it helps build up the uterine lining and can help in women who have had repeated early losses. It obviously worked with both of them. I am doing that this cycle again, so I hope it works.

Thanks, everybody...we actually had an early loss last month...the third one since Carter was born. I am almost dreading the pee stick, because I have had a total of 8 positive pregnancies--2 babies. Don't get me wrong, I would do it all again to get them, but it starts to mess with you after awhile.
SO, I'm 4dpo. I ordered a buttload of early result pregnancy tests (well, only 12, really) on the internet. Unfortunately, I might not get them before I need to test. Dumbo me didn't notice they were coming from HONG KONG!

Ahhhh Dana I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you had another loss last month sad.gif hug.gif Definitely do get into your doctor as soon as you get that +......they CAN test your Progesterone right away and get you started on supplements, and it really should be covered as a necessary pregnancy expense by insurance.

GL again. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

I'm trying really hard to wait til Sunday to test, but I am an impatient person. I am on day 25 of my cycle today, and I am usually pretty regularly 27-29 days. I think I'm 11dpo...it's a good thing I don't have tests in the house.
