I have a pork roast that has been in my freezer for awhile and I have no idea what to do with it. Does anyone have a recipe they can share? Thank you!

The only thing I do with a roast (I use beef, not pork, but same concept) is put it in the crock pot all day with cabbage, onions, carrots, potatoes, seasonings and water. Viola!

I would season with Garlic powder, maybe some black pepper. Then put on a rack and in the oven at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes per lb.

Then I would peel and cut up some apples, put them into a pan and add about 2 tbls of water. Then I put on stove for about 15 minutes. Then I add sugar to taste, a sprinkle of cinnimon. Then simmer for about 30 more minutes and you have homemade chunky applesauce. These apples need to be stired often since there is very little water, you could add more water and it is less likely to burn. You could add less sugar if the apples are sweet enough too. Apples can be mashed to make it less chunky as well. But it can be as simple as you want. mmmm now I am hungry.

Add salad or a veggie.
