I walked into the class where she was conversing on how to discipline the kids with another teacher. She told me to hold on for a min. Which turned out to be closer to 10. Finally after winks and apologizing by mouthing im sorry, she cfinally finished her conversation. i sat down and the conversation began. She's a nice kid. But had no clue how to address the situation constructively. I ended up telling her how I would solve the situation and how she would handle things in class. I set up the system for her to follow. She was easily distracted and I had to close the meeting. I was b hope she follows threw in my directions. otherwise Mya is doomed.

That doesn't sound very encouraging.... I hope she does better as an authority figure in her class than she did in that meeting! sad.gif

Good grief. You shouldn't have to tell a teacher how to run things. That is just crazy. Can't you have Maya switch rooms?

I don't think it would do much good. The other teacher just left on maternity leave. Her sub is also 22 and clueless. I'm afraid all I can do is cross my fingers for her to follow my instructions.
