I know people say that a baby cant sit forward facing until they are a year old, OR, 20lbs and over. Aiden is a little over 19lbs now. Ive been wondering if i can turn him forward facing yet??? Hes getting to where all he does is cry in his carseat now, and i figured maybe if he is forward facing hed be alot better in his car seat. Hes not quite 20 lbs, but do u think hed be ok turning him forward facing now????

It's one year AND 20 pounds, not OR. How old is he?

I would wait until he is a year old, AND 20 pounds. Before a year old the muscles in their necks are not that strong, and it could be very dangerous if you were to have an accident.

I agree with the others, 1 year and 20 lbs. is best for the baby and it is also the law. Keep them rear facing as long as possible!!!

That being said, I turned Brooke when she was under a year. She was 23 lbs. and had long legs and her feet were getting crushed. I am anticipating that we will need to turn Madison early too. She is not even 6 months, weighs 19 lb. and her feet are below the bottom of the infant seat.

I think Aidan is around Megan's age, I might be wrong. blush.gif It definitely is AND not or. I would never turn them around before a year old, IMO, it's just to dangerous. It won't be long and you'll be able to do it wink.gif They are growing too fast for sure sad.gif
