It was a crazy weekend.

Bad and good. On Friday night, Miles said his first "real" word. He pointed at Grandpa and said "poppa"

SOOOO cute!!! Of course, my dad was glowing.

Then last night, he took 3 steps!!

He stood up next to me and I backed away so that I could take a picture of him just standing there, and he just started coming at me!! As soon as he realized what he was doing, he sat down.

He is getting so big! I just can't even believe it. He'll be one in just two weeks

Now if we can just get through this teething business.

Loved the spelling/emphasis on "Miles"tone. Too cute. Watch him carefully over the next few days. Those steps evolve so fast.

Wow, he is getting so big! Make sure you get your video camera out, and tape his first steps, learning how to walk. And try to get him to say "poppa" on tape. Those things are so special if you can catch them on camera.

About the teething, Cam's going to turn 2 next month and we're still dealing with it.

How many teeth does Mile's have?

Miles has 6 teeth, has for months. I keep thinking he's getting more, but I dont see anything.

As for the camera, its ready and charged
