i was just wondering if the ultrasound tech ever been wrong about a baby being a boy?

did the tech ever made a mistake with any of your ultrasounds or anyone you know?

just wondering because i only had 1 ultrasound at 18weeks and 6days and they said boy but this pregnancy as been so completely different than with my boys

thanks in advance

Sincerly,

They are usually not wrong when they say boy, because to say boy they actually have to see a penis. More often, they are wrong when they say girl.

However, nothing is 100%, and the tech could be wrong. But every pregnancy is different- both of my pregnancies were different (except for the morning sickness the first 6 months) and both were girls.

Congrats whatever you are having!

Just to add to everyone else's comments - yes, ultrasounds can be wrong. My DH's older sisters still tease him that he was supposed to be Gina Marie! rolling_smile.gif
